    Kids had free tickets from school. The FlashPass is so worth it if you can afford it. Food is way too expensive.

    Last year, we bought season passes for the family at only $70 each. What a great promotion and wonderful way to spend the summer. We live about 40 minutes from the park and we got a lot of use out of it. Between Hurricane Harbor and the coasters, we must have gone 6-7 times. The water park is AWESOME and clean for a park of this kind. They boast being the cleanest park in the country. I’ve been to one other hurrican harbor (Dallas) and this park is BY FAR the cleanest. long waits for rides, though. The lazy river is great, especially if you rent a tube from them. It’s unlimited riding with a rented tube. chair space is a premium so you have to get there early and stake your claim.

      some guy saw how much trouble he was in, his back went out on him too while he was taikng apart his boom pump. The man came over with his 2 yr old son to talk with him. There aren’t any lights there either so it was near impossible to fix the machinery. The guy left and came back with a bottle of water and a root beer, chatted a while and left. Came back without his son with 2 more bottles of water. Left again and came back with a sandwich and more water. He told my husband his wife just made it for him.How sweet is that!

    Last fall, I was told that when we purchased our season passes and got parking for the season, we would get a sticker for our car, so if my husband wanted to bring a couple of our kids to Great America without me, then he could still use our parking pass. Today, I was told that only one person in the family has the season parking pass and my husband would have to purchase a separate parking pass for $30.00 for the season. Why do we, as a family, have to purchase a second parking pass when we already have one? We are not driving two separate cars.
