Family Fun at Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta

In our fast-paced society sometimes it is good to relax and get out and have some fun with the family. Going to an amusement park is one of America’s oldest forms of relaxing and having a good time. Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta is one of the Top 10 rated amusement parks in the United States and is very family oriented. They have plenty of rides that are fun for the whole family and kids of all ages.

A good ride that is fun for the whole family is the Carrot Patch at Bugs Bunny world in Six Flags over Georgia. This ride is especially good for very young kids and is a fun carrot feast of Looney Tune proportions.

The ride Toro Toro in Bugs Bunny world is also very good for young children. In this ride children ride bulls and are spun in the circle at a rather reasonable speed going up and down. This is a safe and enjoyable experience for very young park goers.

An enjoyable and relaxing spot in Six Flags over Georgia for younger children is the whistle stop park playground. This playground has many interactive games for young children, and all children must be accompanied by an adult in this area of the park.

Alternatively, the monster mansion in the French section of the park is also good for young families and also requires adult supervision. This is one of Six Flags over Georgia’s classic family ride that has gotten a new makeover as the years have gone by. This classic monster plantation has undergone some major renovations and is a fun family experience for all.

If you are looking for other fun family rides, check out the log jamboree in the Georgia section of the park. This particular ride also acquires young children to be accompanied by adults and is a little bit faster than the other rides mentioned before. This Whitewater waterfall fun action that the log jamboree offers is not only fun for the kids, but fun for the adults as well.

Also if you’re looking for some classic carnival fun for the whole family, you should check out the Peachtree Square, sky buckets at Peachtree Square. This slow fun ride gives you a full view of the park while enjoying a family-friendly ride that the kids will always remember.

Other classic carnival fun at Six Flags over Georgia is the wheelie in the lick skillet section of the park. In this ride you get into little gondolas, which rotate at high-speeds and then slowly lift you to a vertical position. A good tip about this ride you might want to consider is to not eat before going on this ride and some young children might not enjoy this ride as much as some of the other kid friendly rides in the park.

Some other good rides for the family in the lick skillet section of the park is the splash waterfalls. In this particular ride whole family can hop into one of their 20 passenger boats go over a five-story waterfall. You can expect to get a little wet on this ride so if it’s hot out it might help keep the kids cool while having some fun.

Understandably, one of the questions you may be having is how can I afford taking my whole family Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta. One option is to visit http://sixflagstickets.us/ and apply for free tickets that can help take the burden off your pocketbooks.

If you’re looking to go back more than once another option might be to get season passes as after your second visit using your season pass the passes have already paid for themselves. So, check out Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta for some good fashion family fun if you’re looking for a quick break or a family vacation.

I have two teenage boys and they totally love going to Six Flags…but so do the adults too. It was a little rainy out in the morning and then the sun came out in the afternoon so the crowd was light and that made everyone happy. Got on all the rides we wanted and some even twice!!

Been there multiple times throughout my life. love the eagle and the viper. The relatively new water park is great. There is a vertical drop water ride that is awesome. My 9 yo who is relatively brave loved it too.

The park has a new roller coaster which has the riders parallel to the track (not above or below) Opens in 5 days. Otherwise, this is a nice amusement park, not a theme park (like Disney). Much better focus on cleanliness and park food, although expensive, isn’t horrible.
